Weekend service comes to the Blue Line starting this June
After the busiest spring in agency history, Saturday and Sunday trips begin June 7 - with buses every 20 minutes on the corridor riders asked about most.
When Harborline surveyed riders last fall, one request came back louder than any other: weekend service on the Blue Line. Nearly 7 in 10 respondents said Saturday trips would change how they get to work, appointments, and family visits.
Starting June 7, Blue Line buses will run every 20 minutes from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturdays and every 30 minutes from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sundays. No fare changes, no schedule changes on weekdays - just more days you can ride.
Real-time arrivals for the new trips will appear in the trip planner the week before launch. Printed pocket schedules will be available on all Blue Line buses and at the Central Transfer Station.
